The Family Focus Story

The History

Founded in 1989, Family Focus was created to fill a growing need in the community—providing families with the tools, support, and guidance needed to navigate some of life’s most difficult transitions. From court-approved parenting classes to home-based family preservation services, we’ve grown to become a leading resource for parents, caregivers, and children facing separation, instability, or crisis.

Today, our certified staff members work hand-in-hand with families across Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Jasper, Newton, Starke, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, and Kosciusko Counties—meeting people where they are and helping them build toward a stronger future.
