Crisis Support Services

Dedicated to assisting families in crisis through a variety of programs. Our services are designed to provide immediate support and long-term solutions to families facing challenges.

What We Provide

Family Focus offers critical intervention services to families referred by the Department of Child Services and/or Probation. Our crisis support programs are designed to stabilize home environments, promote child safety, and strengthen family functioning through home-based therapy, case management, and resource coordination.

Whether facing court involvement, safety risks, or overwhelming stress, families are met with compassion, expert guidance, and practical support tailored to their needs. We help families stay safely together through the most challenging times.

Counseling & Assessment

We offer structured therapy and targeted assessments to address emotional, behavioral, and family-related challenges. Services include Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, and Parenting and Family Functioning Assessments (PFFA). These supports are available to families involved with DCS or juvenile probation and help determine the right course of action for each unique situation.

Visitation Services

Family Focus coordinates and supervises safe, structured visitation for children and their parents or siblings who are involved with DCS. These sessions help foster connection, rebuild trust, and nurture relationships in a secure environment. Whether reunifying families or strengthening existing bonds, our team ensures visits are guided by compassion, consistency, and care.

Home-Based Therapy, Casework & Parent Aide Services

Family Focus delivers support to families in crisis, offering therapy, casework, and parent aide services in the home and/or in the community. These programs are tailored for families referred by the Indiana Department of Child Services or Juvenile Probation. Our goal is to stabilize households, strengthen parenting capacity, and promote long-term family well-being.

Parent Education Services

Our evidence-informed parenting programs support caregivers in strengthening family relationships and promoting healthy child development. These services are designed to enhance parenting skills, build emotional awareness, and foster resilience during periods of change or transition.
